Write the vision. Wait for It. God Is Always On Time.
There was a time not too long ago when I had to fully rely on God for everything. I was an EMT and caregiver for over five years, but I knew I was being called into something different. I left my job voluntarily, without a backup plan, because deep down I knew God had more for me. And let me tell you He showed up.
I was unemployed for almost a year, but my bills were always paid. I couldn’t splurge the way I used to, but I was never without. We ate well. We lived in peace. That season taught me that God truly loves me, and when you walk in obedience, even when it’s uncomfortable, He sustains you. But to get there? I had to leave some things and people behind. I had to follow only Him.

📖 Habakkuk 2:1 3 — My Lifeline in the Waiting
This scripture got me through that season and so many others:
“I will stand at my watch… I will look to see what He will say to me.”“Write the vision and make it plain…”“Though it tarries, wait for it. It will surely come.”
This verse is like God saying: “Hey daughter, I know you’ve been waiting for your dream, your healing, your breakthrough. I’ve already written the plan. It’s coming and it’s right on time, even if it doesn’t feel like it.”
And you know what? That word was true for me.
Back in 2009, I started writing my vision down. It took until 2025 to receive my first degree but that was still God’s perfect timing. He was working behind the scenes the entire time. And now, I can boldly say: His timing really is due season.
💛 My Prayer Every Day
Every morning before I clock in at the hospital, I pray: “Lord, let Your light shine through me today.”
Working in a faith-based hospital is such a blessing. I get to pray with and for my patients, to speak about God’s goodness without hesitation, and to carry His peace into every room I walk into.
🌸 A Word for the Women Who Visit This Space
I created ArRicca’s Holistics because I want women to feel seen, especially the ones who are still waiting. I want you to know that you can make it. Your story isn't over. God is not done blowing your mind until the day He calls you home. And even then, you’re just starting another amazing journey with Him.
So write your vision. Speak it. Pray over it. Even if it takes years, don’t let go.
He heard you the first time. He’s still working. And He hasn’t forgotten.
